Know Private IP Address And Public IP Address
Private IP Address 
rivate IPs are used in intranet or LANs (local Area Networks) of home, organizations or schools to provide services like local file server, web server etc. The machines which are connected in local area network and are having private IPs can not be accessed on internet these can be accessed in Local Area Network only.
There are ranges for private ip addresses.
from 10.0.0.0 to 10.255.255.255
from 172.16.0.0. to 172.31.255.255
from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255
Public IP Address: -if you want your machine to be accessed on internet you need to have a public IP. This will be your unique IP on internet. Two computers connected on internet can not have same public IP. The public IP address is assigned to your computer by your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
Public IP address can be either dynamic or static. A dynamic public IP address is provided by ISP from a pool of available addresses, that’s why it can be different each time you connect to internet. A static public IP address that doesn’t change is used by Hosting Providers.
If your office LAN is connoted to internet then any computer connected in your LAN will have two IP addresses Private IP and Public IP.
To know your Private IP address, type ipconfig in the command prompt.
You can get your Public Address from number of websites that provides this service for example www.whatismyip.com
